What's so special about Miller Creek? Miller Creek is a designated Trout Stream that runs through the City of Duluth.  Click Here for more information about this watershed.

How can I get involved? Are you a trout fisherman? Did you fish or swim in the creek as a kid? Do you live on the creek now? We could use your input! Contact the SWCD Office to find out how you can get involved with the development of the Total Maximum Daily Load Plan for Miller Creek. You can also click here for an introductory flyer on the Miller Creek TMDL and here for our first newsletter.

Miller Creek is located within Duluth and Hermantown.  The watershed is approximately 10 square miles and originates from headwater wetlands.  The upper portion is the least developed but also has fast growing development pressure.  There has been a lot of analysis on this watershed and this should prove to be useful when developing the TMDL.
